JOHN PALMER RAMAGE On January 13, 2004, John Palmer Ramage, aged 84, passed away suddenly, but peacefully at his home in Roxboro, QC. Jack is survived by Eileen, his wife of 57 years; his two sons, Bruce and wife Patricia of Verdun, QC, and Bill and wife Rita together with grandsons, Evan and Garrett of Medicine Hat, AB. Also left to mourn are brothers and sisters, Bill and wife Freda of Burlington, ON, Cay and husband Al Crozier of Vancouver, BC, Don and wife Joyce of Winnipeg and Margaret and husband Percy Criddle of Sidney, BC; as well as many nieces and nephews and their children. Jack was predeceased by his father William in 1960 and mother Gertrude in 1980. Born on May 15, 1919 in Winnipeg, Jack grew up in a loving and busy home on Banning Street and attended Greenway, General Wolfe and Daniel McIntyre Schools. Jack enlisted with the Royal Canadian Artillery and served overseas from 1940 to 1945. Upon his return from the war, Jack married Eileen on June 7, 1946 and went to work at Trans Canada Airlines, later known as Air Canada. Jack was transferred to Montreal in 1959 where he continued his employment with Air Canada until his retirement in 1983. Funeral service was held on Friday, January 16 in Roxboro. \r
