MARTIN S. THOMAS January 3, 1934 - January 22, 2004 Peacefully, on January 22, 2004 our dad rejoined his beloved Doris, who predeceased him in 1986. His love always shone on his son Martin (Michelle) and his daughter Margaret Ann (Jeff). He cherished his six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings and their spouses. Uncle Martin enjoyed all his numerous nieces and nephews visits to his home in Traverse Bay, MB. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and John and his older brothers, John and Sam. Martin loved trapping and hunting. He fished commercially on Lake Winnipeg for 50 years. He was proud to work at the Victoria Beach Fur Farm for 16 years. Special thanks to Chris Monkman, Reney Thomas, Lorne and Lauren Anderson, the staff at Pine Falls Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre Emergency. Your care and concern was heartfelt and will always be remembered. Friends and family are welcome to Martins home on January 24 to celebrate his life. Cremation has taken place at Russell Funeral Home.
