HORACE PROULX January 31, 1929 - January 28, 2004 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Horace, three days prior to his 75th birthday on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer at the Riverview Health Centre with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his great-granddaughter Jewel; his parents, Paul and Diana; two siblings, Ernest and Rita; his parents-in-law, Didace and Cecile Audette. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Annette; his children, Doris (Mike), Denis (Val), Suzanne (Rick), Mona (Darren), and Nancy (Blair) 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; as well as by seven brothers; four sisters and their respective families; numerous in-laws and friends. Horace worked for Kleysen Transport for 37 years before retiring in 1996. Our family would like to thank the Kleysen family for their kindness and generosity throughout Horaces career and even after his retirement. We sincerely appreciate the support from the caring staff at Riverview Centre and the home care team. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Leo Couture at the Sts-Martyrs Canadiens Roman Catholic Church, 289 Dussault St. in Windsor Park on Saturday, January 31 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Horaces cremated remains will take place in the P.W. Lavack Columbarium, St. Boniface Cemetery, Archibald Street following the mass. "Always in our hearts; we love you." LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 775-2220.
