BRIGITTE ERNA TISCHER January 3, 1935 - February 14, 2004 Brigitte, dearly beloved wife of 49 years of Reinhard Tischer, passed away suddenly at the age of 69 on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the Concordia Hospital. Brigitte was born in Breslau, Germany on January 3, 1935 and married in May 1955. She immigrated to Canada with her husband, Reinhard in 1959. Brigitte will be sadly missed by her husband Reinhard; sons, Karsten and Ortwin and many family and friends. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Her happiest moments were spent baking, tending to her garden and flowers and spending time at the lake. Brigitte was a devoted member of the church choir and Ladies Aide. She always found the extra time to help others. But now God has called her home. We love you and miss you Mom. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 65 Walnut St. with Pastor Heimo Bachmeyer officiating, with viewing at the church prior to the service.
