BEATRICE THORPE (nee CAMPBELL) Peacefully, with her family by her side, Beatrice Thorpe passed away at Fred Douglas Lodge on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at the age of 72 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Ellice of 53 years of marriage; daughter Linda; son Bob (Joanne) grandchildren, Monica (Nate), Ian (Bonnie) and Stacey (Cade) great-grandchildren, Ashley, Ariana and Noah; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Beatrice was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Teenie; brothers, Elvin, Russell and Maurice; and son-in-law Rick. Beatrice was born and raised in Gunton, MB. She worked many years at Tamblyn Drugs. Her favourite past times were playing cards and Bingo. On Tuesday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m., Beatrices funeral service will be held in Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave. at Belvidere Street. Our family would like to extend our thanks to the staff in the Oak Ward in Fred Douglas Lodge, for all their kindness and loving care for the past three years.
