MARION POZERNICK Peacefully, with her family at her side, Marion passed away on Sunday, February 29, 2004 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 80. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter in 1974. Her memory will be forever cherished by son Ron Pozernick and wife Lynn; daughter Donna Barda and husband Mark; her grandchildren, Jeff Levesque and wife Trena, Marla Pozernick and husband Tony Dicks, Jennifer Levesque, Grant Pozernick and wife Kari Scotland; and her great-grandson Justin Levesque. Mom was a kind, gentle and soft spoken lady who was so easy to love. She was entirely devoted to her family and friends and she treasured the time she spent with them. Her grandchildren were especially precious to her. We remember how she took great joy in preparing meals for her family. Mom loved singing, dancing and playing her guitar and mandolin. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of B1 at Middlechurch Home who gave her loving care, and also to the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital during her final days. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Moms memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, March 3 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, March 4 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 455 Douglas Ave. with interment to follow at Rossdale Cemetery, Rossdale, MB. Pallbearers will be Dan Levesque, Jeff Levesque, Marla Pozernick, Jennifer Levesque, Grant Pozernick and Tony Dicks. Mom To love a Mom and then to part, Is the greatest trial to the human heart. Years of striving, little of play, Loving, giving, the whole of the way. A cherished smile, a heart of gold, To the dearest Mother the world could hold. Happy memories, fond and true, From us who thought the world of you. Beautiful memories are treasures ever, Of happy days when we were together, With aching hearts we whisper low, God bless you Mom, well miss you so. Father in Heaven hear our prayer, Please guard our Mother with tender care. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
