DAVID BRIAN THOMAS April 24, 1938 - March 19, 2004 Peacefully on March 19, 2004 at the Riverview Health Centre, Brian passed away at the age of 65 with his family by his side. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Basil and Marion; his brother Bill and sister-in-law Fernande. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Yvonne; son Dave (Michelle) grandchildren, Wyatt and Amanda; stepchildren Nancy (Rob), Robert (Donna) and grandchildren; his brothers, Arnold (Marg) from Winnipeg, Keith from Ottawa; and many nephews and nieces. Also his buddy (nephew Kenny) sister-in-law Irma; brother-in-law Eugene; Scotty and Johnny; numerous other relatives and friends. Brians working career was printing and graphic art at Display Industry, salesman at Allworth Ltd. retiring from Winnipeg Auto Auction. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed being at his brothers place at Carberry, MB spending time with his friends, enjoying a Labatts Lite, fishing, hockey and golfing. The family would like to thank the staff of the Health Sciences Centre ward GH 5, his buddy the Captain, the palliative care staff of 3E Riverview Health Centre, for the care shown to Brian. At Brians request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave, on Tuesday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers should friends desire, a donation in memory of Brian may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDonald Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
