Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH ELVA MAE RANDALL (nee THOM) On Thursday, April 08, 2004 at Rock Lake Health District Hospital, Crystal City, Edith passed away at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by Clare, her husband of 61 years, and by her brothers, Roy, Stan, Donald, Earl and Harold Thom. She is survived by her sister Mary McCoy, and sisters-in-law Jean Thom, Hazel Thom and Arlie Penman. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Bryan (Dallas), George (Shirley), and Neil, her daughter Audrey (Bryan McTaggart), and by her 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Edith was born in 1909 in Langdon, ND. She moved with her family to the Rollins district south of Crystal City, MB in 1920. In 1937 she married Clare Randall. They farmed in the Eton district until retiring to Crystal City in 1986. She moved to Prairie View Lodge in Pilot Mound in 2001, where she enjoyed her time with old and new friends. Family was most important to Mom, and she took great pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother who took pride in her home, was a wonderful cook and especially liked to spend time tending her flowers. She and Dad loved to travel, and spent many enjoyable winters in Edinburg, TX. Funeral service will be held in Crystal City United Church on Monday, April 12 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Moms memory to Prairie View Lodge, Pilot Mound or to a charity of ones choice.
