Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT QUINN The death of Robert Quinn of Oak Lake, occurred at the Virden Health Centre, Virden on April 15, 2004. Robert was born in Thornhill, Ontario on June 17, 1925. He served in the Armed Forces with the 48th Highlanders during the Second World War. After the war, Robert married Evelyn Mary Tomkinson in 1946. He became employed with the Toronto Police Force and during that time as police officer, trained their horses and men for the mounted unit. He served with the forces for fifteen years. Robert and Evelyn then moved to Oak Lake, Manitoba, where he worked as a Field Representative with Ayerst Organics. Surviving his wife, Evelyn; children, Linda (John) Kargacin, Diane (Don) McMartin, Robin Quinn and Robert John (Kelly) Quinn; There are six grandchildren, Jacqueline, Richard, Tara, Sarah, Shawn and Taylor. He was predeceased by his half sisters, Freda and June and by a brother Jack. There will be no ceremony held. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Robert to a charity of their choice.
