GEORGE PUTTAERT It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of George, at the Victoria General Hospital, on Monday, May 31, 2004 at the age of 92 years. George is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Emily (Kerri) his brother Alec, sisters-in-law Helen and Kaye; his two sons, David (Barbara) and Gary (Brenda) and his two granddaughters, Angela and Erin. George will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends. George was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Collette and brother Raymond. George was a veteran of the Second World War. He worked for the Land Titles Office for 32 years before retiring in 1976. He will be remembered for his contribution to community sports as a long time little league baseball coach at the Greendell Community Club. Cremation has taken place and at Georges request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
