ALICE VIVIAN THOMPSON (WILLIAMSON) On Thursday morning June 3, 2004, our loving and very much loved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to meet her husband Jack. Alice was born May 5, 1915 in Umatilla, Manitoba. Alice was predeceased by her mother Ethel and father Milton; brothers, Ira and Arnold; and her sisters, Ella Jones and Fern; Mom will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends. We treasure the time we got to spend with her in the hospital before her passing. Mother enriched the lives of those around her. Mom had the amazing ability to make each and everyone of her family feel special to her and we all felt equally loved. Friends of family felt welcomed and loved as though they were her own. Many called her mom! Mom was known and respected for her humor, dignity, and compassion. Mom was always positive and would always say "Its never so bad, it couldnt be worse." Mom found a way to get the best in everyone and every situation.
