IRENE MARY COOPER On Friday, May 28, 2004, Irene passed away at St. Pauls Hospital, Vancouver, BC. Surviving her are brother Jack (Audrey) Cooper, Delta, BC; sister Marguerite Stewart, Winnipeg; nephews, Bill Cooper, Ken Stewart; niece Catherine Stewart of Vancouver. Born in Winnipeg December 8, 1924, she grew up in Elmwood and attended Lord Selkirk and St. Johns High School. Irene loved to travel and was an avid sailor, curler and cross country skier. Following retirement, she began studying for a University Degree at SFU. She was a longtime member of St. Pauls Anglican Church where a memorial service was held Thursday, June 3. Donations in Irenes memory may be sent to St. Pauls Anglican Church, 1130 Jervis St., Vancouver, BC V6E 2C7.
