PETER GEORGE PRICE RATTRAY
Date of Passing: Jun 16, 2004
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER GEORGE PRICE RATTRAY On June 16, 2004 at the Deer Lodge Centre with family by his side and with great courage and dignity, Peters journey through life came to a close. Peter was predeceased by his parents, S. Price Rattray, and Dorothy St. Clair Rattray, his brother Burnett and his daughter Deborah Lee. He will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by his devoted wife and best friend Shirley; his son Robert (Adele Chris and Scott) his brother Michael (Gail) cousin Bill Brisbin (Iris), many nieces, nephews and friends. Peters life was spent mostly in the commercial real estate business as president of C.H. Enderton and Co. Upon his retirement in 1987 he and Shirley decided to travel. Arizona was the place he loved and they spent many happy winters there until his illness made it impossible to travel. At home, a simple phone call delighted him so. He loved to laugh and tease and always saw the sunny side of life. He never complained about his problems and remained buoyant and upbeat until the end. We wish to thank Dr. C. Hildahl for the many years he helped care for Peter and special thanks to Dr. V. Taraska and staff on 5 south at the Victoria Hospital. Also, the care and comfort provided by the staff at Deer Lodge Centre deserve our thanks. Our family is most appreciative for the love and support we received from wonderful friends during this difficult time. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6 A reception to celebrate Peters life will be held at Southwood Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, June 29 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. THOMSON Funeral Chapels - 669 Broadway - 783-7211
