GLYNN ROBERT NOTLEY Of Stittsville, ON, formerly employed by NRC, CPC and retired from BNR - Nortel after 30 years of service. It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Glynn at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Sunday, June 13, 2004 at the age of 62. Glynn was born in Winnipeg, MB in 1941 and grew up in Transcona until he finished university and moved to Ottawa. Beloved husband of Virginia (nee Wilson) for 24 years. Predeceased by his father Cecil Rhodes Notley and his mother Sena (nee Rinella) of Winnipeg, also his eldest sister Dorothy Field from Gore Bay, ON in 2000. A guiding, helping hand to many of his friends, family and strangers, he will be missed deeply by his brothers and sisters, Cecil, Garry, Joan, Bev, Judy, Darlene and their spouses and his extended family and friends, also numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service was held June 17 at Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home. Donations in Glynns name may be made to the Wild Bird Centre, Ottawa Humane Society or the Cancer Society.
