IRENE ANN CADGER (nee DAVIES) January 16,1935 - July 2, 2004 Peacefully, on Friday, July 2, 2004, Irene passed away at Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 69 years. Irene was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Ann; daughter Sandy; and sister Marlene. Irene is survived by her husband Frank Paquette; sons, Daryl ( Michelle), Bob (Tracy), Wade (Heidi) and grandchildren, Cassandra, Chelsea, Brennan and Jayden; sister Carol (Tom), Edmonton; many nieces and nephews, as well as Franks children and grandchildren. For all of Irenes working life she was involved in the food industry. Mom loved flowers, living at the lake near nature and animals. She was happiest when reading, doing crosswords and always enjoyed company. Mom had a zest for life and was always fun to be around. Her strength, humour and great attitude never wavered during her illness. Our family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at both Concordia and Selkirk General Hospitals. A private service with family and friends will be held at Thomsons "In the Park". In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
