STEVE LACOMY Peacefully, on July 5, 2004, Steve Lacomy, age 87, passed away at the Victoria General Hospital. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years Jean, infant son Robert, brother Joseph and sister Stella. Steve will be sadly missed by his loving son Richard (Shelley) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Steve had a career with Canada Packers for over 50 years until his retirement in 1982. Steve enjoyed the simple life, sitting on the front steps with Lou, tending to his garden and tinkering in the garage. He could always be counted on to collect vacationing neighbours mail. Steve was a member of the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church where he could be found every Saturday night with the Lomendas. We would like to send our heartfelt thanks to the Duguays and the Candaeles for all the help and support with Dad. Thanks also to the Second floor staff at the Poseidon Care Home in caring for Steve in the last four months. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9 at the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. "Dad, you will be in my heart forever. Say Hi to Mom!" I love you.
