LOURDES SEPTIMO SANTOS It is with great sorrow that we the family announce the sudden passing of Lourdes Santos on Monday, August 30, 2004 in Calgary, AB. She was predeceased by her parents, Dominador and Emerinciana; sister Remedios. Lourdes will be sadly missed by her remaining sisters, Felicidad Estorga, Teresita Vieira; numerous nieces and nephews, Ricardo Pilao (Aggie), their sons, Dyther and Raphael; Jeffrey, Jim, Paul, Jay Jay; cousins, Zenaida (Oscar), Blesilda (Noel Borras), Sonny (Rachel), all from Calgary; nieces and nephews, Loretta, Maribel, son Joshua, Fernando (Nenita) Villanueva; numerous other relatives in the Philippines. She will be sadly missed by Joanne Rusen, her daughter Breanne and son Jaimee of Winnipeg; numerous friends. She was born October 15, 1936 in the Philippines, immigrating to Canada in 1981. Lourdes worked for the Holiday Inn South for many years, where she received a personalized silver tray for being an employee of the year in 2000, and retired in 2002. Back home she was a member of the choir, she loved to listen to classical and soft music. Lourdes enjoyed to play the piano. Lourdes was very family oriented, and she always enjoyed having the family around her. She will also be missed by numerous friends who supported us in this difficult time, like Penny Antonio, Sandra, Orly and Celia - to name buy a few. Thankyou! Pallbearers will be Ricardo Pilao, Jeffrey Vieira, Jim Paul Vieira, Noel Borras, Jojo Yso and Glopert Cabarrugis. Lamay (viewing) will be held on Friday, September 17 from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m., also at the chapel.
