Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVARISTE (VIC) NOLEN It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Vic on Monday, September 6, 2004 at the Riverview Health Care Centre at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife Mary, five children, brother Morris as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, sons, granddaughter and great-granddaughter. Vic was a retired journeyman in sheet metal who kept his days busy repairing air tools and stripping copper. Vics outer shell was only a cover for his very kind heart and young spirit. He will be missed by all. We thank the staff of Riverview Health Care Centre for their care, support and kindness. Public viewing will be held on Thursday, September 9 from 3:00 till 5:00 p.m. Vics funeral service will be held on Friday, September 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation is made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9.
