Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMERVIN GEORGE THRUSH Peacefully, with his family by his side, Mervin Thrush passed away on September 17, 2004 at the age of 81. Merv was predeceased by his wife Lorraine and son Fred. He is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Sid) Farmer and their daughters, Shannon and Kymberly, Bev (Steve) Graham and their sons, David and Brian, Linda (Brian) Ormonde and their sons, Mike and Mark; and his sisters, Vera, Eileen (Erwin) and brother-in-law Ron; and sister-in-law Bernice; and longtime companion and best friend "Maysi". Merv worked for the T. Eaton Co. for 40 years. He was an avid bowler with the T. Eaton Co. and later with the MTS League. Merv was a man of many talents. His passion was music and he played many musical instruments by ear. He was a handyman who could fix anything. He had a love for the outdoors and gardening and passed this on to his daughters. He will be remembered as a kind and caring man with a great sense of humour. Merv served in the army and the Royal Canadian Legion will provide The Last Post. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
