Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM "BILLY" REAY William "Billy" Reay, aged 86, former Chicago Black Hawk Coach, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 23, 2004, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg. He was born on August 21, 1918 in Winnipeg, MB, the son of William T. and Elizabeth Reay. Billy was united in marriage to Clare Dartnell on April 24, 1942, in Toronto, ON. In addition to his wife Clare; Billy is survived by a daughter Adele (Larry) Callan of Burlington, ON; a son Bill (Kris) Reay of Madison; seven grandchildren, Melody (Greg) MacPherson, Elliott (Mishelle) Callan, Royal Callan, William F. (Michelle) Reay, Allison Reay, Adam Reay and Kimberly Reay; two sisters, Florence Berry and Nora Hooper; two brothers, Norman (Doris) Reay and Lawrence Reay; two stepgrandchildren, Bruce Callan and Tim Callan; and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lil. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, September 27 at the Blackhawk Evangelical Free Church, 110 S. Whitney Way, Madison, WI with the Rev. Dr. Glen Lange and Pastor Bill Arvan presiding. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Family and friends may call from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 26 at the Gunderson West Funeral Home, 7345 University Ave, Middleton, WI. Friends may also call on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association (AHIHA), 1143 W.
