ALICE DESROSIERS (nee LAURENDEAU) September 12, 1923- September 29, 2004 Peacefully, September 29, at the Ste. Anne Hospital, surrounded by her family, Alice entered her eternal home at the age of 81. Alice will be sadly missed by her children, Louis (Linda), Denis (Suzanne), Marie (Roland) Petit, Andre (Merle), Carmelle (Daniel) Bernard, Colombe (Ben) Kehler, Jacques (Helena), Mariette (Rolland) Sarrasin, Claude (Denise) 26 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gratia Boisjolie and Ernestine Verrier; as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband Rosaire in January 2004; her parents, Rose-Alma and Pamphille Laurendeau; her sister Alma Seewald; her brothers, Adelard, Wilfred and Raoul; her infant daughter Marie-Ange; her son-in-law Norbert Lemoing and her granddaughter Josephine. A celebration of Alices life will be held on Sunday, October 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ste. Anne Catholic Church with viewing at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m. (viewing at 10:00 a.m.) also at the church with Fr. Rene Chartier officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. The family would like to thank the doctors of the Ste. Anne Hospital - especially Dr. Paul de Moissac for their compassionate care as well as the nurses for their support and tender loving care. Special thanks to the home care workers at the Villa Youville for their caring and love. We would also like to thank Sr. Rioux, Sr. Forest, Fr. Rene Chartier, and Msgr. Albert Frechette for their love and prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ste. Anne Catholic Church for renovations, 162 Centrale Ave., Ste. Anne, MB R5H 1C3 or to Les Dames de Coeur, Box 1149, Ste. Anne, MB R5H 1C1. As we say goodbye for now, we thank you Mom for your unconditional love.
