AUDREY L. PROUTT (nee LIEBRECHT) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Audrey Proutt, on October 21, 2004 at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 72. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Brian, Lynn (Craig), Louise (Jim), and their father Walter; grandchildren, Ryan, Shane (Melanie), Sheldon; and great-grandson Brandon. She also leaves to mourn her sisters, Margaret and Evelyn; brother Dennis; several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Audrey was predeceased by her parents, George and Louise; brothers, Edward and Adolph, and sisters, Florence and June. Mom was a very devoted, compassionate, selfless and loving woman. Many lives have been touched and enriched by Moms generous and nurturing nature. Many of her years have been spent caring for her family. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 26 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. The service will conclude at the Chapel. The family wishes to thank Dr. S. Bellan, Dr. J. Loiselle, the St. Boniface Hospital palliative and medical staff and also home care staff for their compassionate care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Audreys memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. "Thank you for the years you gave us. We pray that when you left us, you know how much we cared. Heaven is forever changed. You are reunited with those gone before. Smiles flash across the skies in celebration, tears are wiped away and replaced with peace. We shall all meet again someday."
