JOSEPH McDONALD August 22, 1915 - October 22, 2004 Joe passed away peacefully at Park Manor Personal Care Home on October 22 after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia on October 17, 1996. Joe is survived by his son Brian (Sharon) daughter Susan (Gerry) grandchildren, Raymond, Steven, David and Kara; brother Frank; and sisters, Amelia (Millie), Margaret, both of Victoria, BC and Sadie of Edmonton, AB. Joe was a lifelong resident of Winnipeg and spent his working years at CP Rail. He retired in 1976 and enjoyed his summers at his Glen Bay cottage. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the caring staff at Park Manor for their kindness and compassion over the last four years. Dad will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to Rev. Mark Scott for always being there when we needed him the most. A family memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow.
