JOAN SHIRLEY THOM (nee PARK) June 29, 1930 - November 25, 2004 With deep regret Mom passed away after a brief battle with cancer at the Health Sciences Centre. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her loving husband Henry of 54 years. Her children, Robert (Peggy), Barbara, Greg (Joyce), Jeff (Jane). Her grandchildren, Robert, Kelly and Becky. Her sister Edna Patterson; brothers, Douglas Park of California and Alex Park (Barb) and many nephews and nieces. Mom loved to laugh and have a good time. She especially loved big dinners and just being around family. Mom also enjoyed travelling and spent many winters in Texas and Arizona. Mom had many interests including square dancing, gardening and playing cards with her friends. Mom loved having people around her and would welcome anyone to join them for dinner or just to chat. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. At Moms request cremation has taken place. A family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements Entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler Ave. @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
