IRENE RAFNKELSSON Irene Rafnkelsson, of Killarney, formerly of Lundar, MB, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2004 at the age of 87 years. Irene was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1984. She is survived by her son, Eric (Jan), Ninette; daughter Linda (Mel) Williamson, Blind Bay, BC; and grandchildren, Becky Rafnkelsson, Winnipeg; Amy (Clint) Heath, Souris; Leanne (Dave) Hillsdon, Langley, BC; Todd (Erin) Williamson, Texas; Marnie (Dave) White, Calgary. Irene was Great-Grandma Raffi to Christian, Sarah and Noah Hillsdon, Iain and Eleanor Williamson, and Abby Heath. Also surviving are Irenes sisters, Rita Skagfeld, Henriette Beaudin; sisters-in-law, Betty Tetu, Ragna Foss, Kay Rafnkelsson, special friend, Jean Skagfeld, and many nieces and nephews. Irene lived in the Lundar area for over 60 years before moving to Lakeview Gardens in Killarney in December 2002 where she received loving care and attention from Heather and Don Andrews and staff. Funeral service will be held at the Lundar Lutheran Church on Friday, December 10 at 2:00 p.m. In memory of Irene, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
