Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOLORES T. DANAN Peacefully on Friday, January 7, 2005 with her family by her side, Dolores T. Danan passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 84 years. Dolores, fondly called Nanay (Mom) Dolores, was born on September 15, 1920 in the Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1980. She was predeceased by two sons and one daughter. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Rustico; her children, Rosario (Jacinto) Rogue of the Philippines, Relly (Fidel) Araneta, Julieta of Winnipeg, Danilo (Babie) of California, Carolina of Winnipeg, Sally of the Philippines and Roberto of Winnipeg. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren here in Winnipeg, Michaelangelo Araneta (Daisy Saria), Liezel Araneta (Louie) Jacinto, Ashley Danan, Roland Danan; and great-grandson Nathan Jacinto; and granddaughter Diana Danan of California. Also left to mourn are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends in the Philippines, Canada and the United States. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love and care for her family and friends and anyone in need. She has touched the lives of people through her positive attitude and humility, coupled with loving advice during her lifetime. Vigil ( lamay ) will be held on Thursday, January 13 and Friday, January 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., Winnipeg. Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated by Rev. Fr. Vic Tungolh on Saturday, January 15 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward's Church, 818 Arlington St., Winnipeg. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. The Danan and Araneta Families are extending their sincere thanks to their friends and extended families who are always there for them and to the following, Chrissy and Lorie (home care staff), Dr. B. McDougall, Dr. E. Milambiling, Dr. S. Thille, as well as the nursing / health care givers staff of the Geriatric Ward, and the doctors and nursing staff at the Emergency Ward of St. Boniface Hospital for all their kindness and care provided to Dolores. Special thank you also goes to Dr. Erin Weldon, Susan Alcock, RN and the Emergency Room staff of the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion.
