Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN ETHEL POITRAS (WILSON) (nee PARKER) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lillian Ethel (Wilson) Poitras (nee Parker) on January 11, 2005. Lillian was predeceased by two husbands, A. Wilson and A. Poitras; son Ronald; her parents; six brothers and three sisters. She will be sadly missed by daughter Janice; son Wayne; daughters-in-law; son-in-law; step-children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two brothers; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and many friends. Lillian was born on January 29, 1910 on Cambridge Street in Winnipeg, one of sixteen children, married at age nineteen and except for a few years lived most of her life on Cambridge Street. She was a member of St. Georges Anglican Church for many years and was baptized there as a young girl. In her long life she saw two world wars, the depression, the beginning of a new millennium and the passing of many people close to her. Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 24 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
