OLGA (OLLIE) RAYMOND It is with profound sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, sister in-law Ollie Raymond on January 18, 2005, at the age of 77. Mom leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Robert (Linda), Karen Stanczak (Mark). She will be greatly missed by her two grandsons, Brent and Scott, whom they loved so much. Also to mourn are her two brothers, William Filipchuk (Rita), Swan River, MB, Wilbert Filipchuk (Mary), Kamsack, SK; brother-in-law Robert (Helen); sisters-in-law, Isabelle (Hilbert), Margaret (Chuck); as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Cecil; and her parents Nicholas and Mary Filipchuk. Mom was born in Detroit, MI, on July 29, 1927. Her parents moved to Cote, SK, where she grew up on the family farm. She then moved to Winnipeg where she met and married her beloved Cec. They were married on June 25, 1955, until his passing in 1988. Mom loved to knit and had a green thumb for gardening. She could always get a flower to bloom or a plant to grow. Mom was a very loving and caring person to all that knew her. She loved and cared for all of her family and friends. Mom was always there for anyone that needed her. We will all miss her so. Life is a pathway We travel each day And memories are flowers We pick on the way. Their fragrance remains in our hearts ever dear And at sad times of loss They keep loved ones near. We love you Grammy xoxo We love you Mom and Dad. Forever and ever in our hearts. At our mother's request cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
