Date of Passing: Feb 11, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOYCELYN MAY ROBINSON (nee PARTRICK) On February 11, 2005 our mom, sister, grandmother and friend passed away suddenly and peacefully. Joyce has gone to be with her mom and dad, her beloved dog Breezy, and all her friends that welcome her in her journey home with Jesus. She will be cherished forever by her son Danny; daughters, Wendy (Karl), Holly (Michael); her sister Beverly (Jim); her four grandchildren, Conor, Shay, Breana, Kyla; nephew Bruce (Andrea); and niece Lori (Burt), Nicki, Scott and Ian; her extended family and many friends. Joyce spent many years of her life in Gimli and especially at the cottage in South Beach. She spent summers there as a child and later settling there to raise her own family. She made many good friends through her hairdressing and the Air Force/ Air Canada days. She always looked forward to the nicer weather and the good times to be shared at the cottage. She was a creative and caring person with a youthful zest for life. She loved music, movies and nature. Seeing the beauty and wonder in all things. Her constant love and devotion to her family, especially her three kids and four grandchildren will be her legacy. As she would say, It was a labour of Love . Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. We love you mom, grandma, Joycie. Rest peacefully. The family would like to thank all the medical and nursing staff who treated our mom with care and dignity. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, February 16 at 1:00 p.m. in the Klassen Funeral Chapel at 1897 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Unicef, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association. KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson - North of McIvor 338-0331

Auntie Joyce is one of the very few women who has inspired me my whole life. I've always felt I had a connection to her. She is, even in death a strong spirit in my life, always living life as if were her last day. Vivacious. gorgeous, spirited, stubborn, loving. A true inspiration. She is not gone. She's just stepped back to let the people she loves do on their own what she's taught them. I can just see how annoyed she is for leaving so suddenly. But she is here. Always. - Posted by: Abby Scerbo Granger (Family) on: Feb 14, 2005
