Date of Passing: Feb 26, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUDREY PETERS (nee TROMAN) Peacefully on February 26 with her family by her side, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Audrey at the Riverview Health Care at the age of 66. Audrey was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Lillian and brother Kenny. She is survived by her loving husband Mike of 47 years; mother-in-law Rose; her daughter Terry (Rob); sons, Brent (Linda) and Michael (Carolin) and her grandchildren, Brittany, Jena, Orisha, Brennan, Marysa, Janessa and Riley; and her sisters, Barbara (Brian), Susan (Bob) of Winnipeg. She leaves to mourn many relatives and friends. Audrey was a great wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She loved having her family over for dinner, always creating new recipes, which we all loved to try. The kitchen was her workshop. She greatly enjoyed talking about all the things her husband, children and grandchildren were up to. She was very proud of all of them. Audrey was a great lover of football and hockey. She was always there to watch her grandchildren play hockey and loved to go to the Blue Bomber games with her special friend and cousin Sandy. If you wanted to see Audrey during the week, you could always catch her at Safeway in the mornings and on Saturdays meeting her sister and mom for breakfast or lunch. Audrey spent many fun times with her husband Mike travelling with the fifth wheeler after retirement and also at their trailer at Lee River where they met many new friends. Our Audrey was a very independent person (a trait she inherited from her mother). It was nothing for her to hop on the bus and go downtown for the day by herself or on the plane to visit friends in Abbotsford. One of her most favourite things to do was to visit her daughter in Brandon where she was treated like Royalty. Christmas was her favourite time of year. Doing her crafts, decorating her home, baking, shopping, getting together with the girls for the annual Christmas dinner, and of course Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with her family. Audrey, we love you and we'll miss you so very much. Special thanks to the staff at the Grace Hospital and Riverview Health Care. At Audrey's request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
