DOUGLAS JAMES PRUDEN It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Douglas James Pruden on March 8, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre. Douglas was predeceased by mother Doreen and father Roy. He leaves to mourn his passing his sister Lori Pilatzke, nephew Michael Still, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Douglas was born in Winnipeg, MB on October 7, 1952. His early years were spent in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Germany. For most of his adult life he worked as a cook with Manitoba Hydro at Kelsey, Gillam, Laurie River and Jenpeg. His passions were Harleys and his body art. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. A celebration of Douglas' life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Brooklands and Western Branch, 1613 Logan Ave.
