LORNE THOMAS Suddenly on Friday, March 11, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre, Lorne Thomas passed away at the age of 56 years. Lorne was born at Fort Severn First Nations, spending his time between his home in Ontario and Winnipeg. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his mother Tonena Thomas; special friend Clara Pruden; two brothers, Kenneth (Maria) and Douglas (Susan). There are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Geordie, two brothers, Aglius and Ronnie. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 15 between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, Winnipeg. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, March 16 and Thursday, March 17 at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Fort Severn, ON. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 18 at 3:00 p.m. also at St. Peter's Anglican Church with Rev. Moses Kakekaspan Sr. officiating.
