ROSE BREWSTER January 15, 1917 - March 22, 2005 Peacefully on March 22, 2005, Rose Brewster, aged 88, passed away at Bethania Personal Care Home. Rose will be lovingly remembered by her husband Eric; daughter Carole; son-in-law Rama; and grandchildren, Leela, Shantha and Rekha; niece Lynda and children, Jon and Thea; nephew Allan and Maggie; cousin Ellen and family. She was predeceased by her dear son Jimmy; her sister Daisey; and her grand-nephew Kristjan. Mom was born in Prince Albert, SK, in 1917 and then spent her early childhood years in the Pas, MB. She later moved to Winnipeg with her family. Mom was married to her loving husband Eric for 63 years. She was an artist who was always able to see the beauty in ordinary things. She loved all animals and rescued many throughout the years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed the cottage life at the lake north of Gimli. Dad built their cottage in 1980 and they spent many happy summers there with their cousins, Ernie and Ellen. Mom and Dad also kept active by cross country skiing and hiking in their 70s. Mom was a breast cancer survivor from 1984 and managed to be very independent in her life until the past year and a half. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all of the Bethania Personal Care Home staff for their very compassionate and loving care.
