ROBERT EDWARD CLARKE Robert passed away peacefully, on April 7, 2005 at Poseidon Care Centre at the age of 101. Robert was predeceased by his loving wife Elsie of 58 years. He is fondly remembered by his son Stephen and daughter-in-law Marilyn of Petawawa, ON, as well as family and friends. He came to Canada in 1926 from Belfast, Northern Ireland and settled in Winnipeg. For many years, he participated in various worthwhile organizations in the city. Stephen and Marilyn want to extend their heart felt thanks to the staff of Poseidon Care Centre for their loving care and attention shown Bob during the last ten years. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with viewing held prior to the service. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
