Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEUFRONIO (TATAY OFRING) TIPAN August 3, 1929 - April 13, 2005 It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and friend, Eufronio (Tatay Ofring). After a courageous battle with heart disease with his family by his side, Tatay Ofring passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at St. Boniface General Hospital. Tatay Ofring was born in Mataasnakahoy, Batangas, Philippines and came to Canada on December 16, 1981. He was predeceased by his parents, Irenio and Conchita Tipan and his brothers, Conrado and Loreto. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Benita Tipan; his sisters, Timotea Lubi, Mercy Lubi and Dionisia de las Alas; his brother Diego; as well as his loving children, Felilia (Feliciano) Gonzales of the Philippines, Chris (Lorie) Tipan, Willy (Baby) Tipan, Senia (Brian) Lubi, Susan, Rey (Helen) Tipan, Ricky, Rowel (Mylene) Tipan; and grandchildren, Anthony (Chona), Alex (Cecil) Che-Che, Glenn, Christian, Mae, Lawrence, Justin, Kevin, Michael, Charlie, Cedric, Katherine, Krystal, Rachelle, KC, Carlo, Roxanne, Princess, Angelo, Ashley, Stephanie and Paolo. Lamay (viewing) will be held Friday, April 22 with prayers at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church, 818 Arlington St. with Fr. Vincente Tungolh officiating. Interment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all the staff at Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Hospital.
