IRENE OLUND (DEITZ/CALVERT) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our Mother, Irene Olund, on Monday, June 6, 2005 at Oakview Place, at the age of 75 years. Irene leaves behind her children, Margaret (Ray), Hilda (Brad), Kim (Bob), Gladys (Pat), Clifford (Kim) and Cheryl; sister Jeanette (Robert); as well as numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; relatives and friends. Mom was predeceased by her parents; three brothers; and her husband in 2001. Our Mother resided in Winnipeg most of her life. Mom enjoyed having visitors. She got bored easily but enjoyed doing crafts, knitting, crocheting and a variety of puzzles. Mom couldn't live without her pop!! In her last few years she loved to go for walks. A private family funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10 in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Boulevard. Private interment will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Flowers are gratefully declined.
