ILIJA RADEKA July 29, 1939 - July 4, 2005 Peacefully on July 4, 2005, Ilija passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 65 years. Ilija is survived by his loving wife Danica; sons, Milan and Radovan; daughter Ljiljana (Henry); granddaughters, Kaitlen and Neve; brothers, Mile and Radovan and family; sister Savka and family. Ilija was born in Mileticevo, Yugoslavia and came to Canada in 1971. He worked for Shaw Laboratories for many years then started his own business. Ilija enjoyed hunting and camping with family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for all their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Thursday, July 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 8 at 12:00 p.m. noon at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 580 Talbot Ave. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ilija's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
