Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA PULL It is with very heavy hearts and extreme sadness that we, the children of Patricia Pull, announce her passing in the early afternoon of July 10, 2005. After a courageous battle with cancer, Mom died peacefully, surrounded by the love and presence of her family. Mom was born on March 14, 1937. Left to cherish the memory of her beautiful life are her four children and their families: daughter Kim (Mozdzen), son-in-law Bob and grandson Clayton; son Ken, daughter-in-law Chris, granddaughters, Megan, Nicole, Whitney and Kendra, great-grandson, Hunter; son Jim, daughter-in-law Sharon, granddaughters, Brittney, Tegan and Morgan; and son Randy, daughter-in-law Janet, grandchildren, Kori, Johnathon, Dayna and Zach. Pat is also survived by her very special and loving sister Marie (Bob) Peters and family; sister-in-law Joan Sinclair and family; sister-in-law Marguerite Sinclair and family; very special brother-in-law and sister-in-law (and chum ) Ron and Maryanne Pull; sister-in-law Alice Pull (Wally); special friend Carol Gillespie, along with many other family members and a great many friends, all too numerous to mention. Mom also leaves behind her two special pets, Skippy and Max. Mom was predeceased by the love of her life, husband John in 1983. Mom was also predeceased by her father Peter in 1967; brother Jim in 1985; mother Alma in 1989 and brother Alex in 2004. Mom and Dad married on February 14, 1960. By November of 1967 they had added four children to their family. Mom and Dad started out living in Winnipeg, then moved to Stonewall in 1968. Soon after moving to Stonewall, Mom began working as a waitress at the Stonewall Hotel and later at the Stony Mountain Hotel. Mom also tried her hand working at Mrs. K's Pizza and, for a short while, Chicken Delight Restaurant. Although Mom enjoyed working at these locations, the job she would enjoy the most and work the longest at, was waitressing in the Stonewall Legion. Mom was very much a people person and her job at the Legion suited her to a T . It was with great disappointment that Mom had to give up her job in early 2002 after suffering a stroke. Mom was a member of the Stonewall Legion for a number of years. Our Mom was a beautiful lady with a kind heart, a great smile and a gentle spirit. Most important in Mom's world were her four children. Mom had the deepest of love for the four of us and in her eyes, we have never done anything wrong! Mom cherished each and every one of her grandchildren, along with her great-grandchild. She felt so blessed to have been around to enjoy the arrival of all of them. Prayer service / viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Pallbearers will be her three sons, Ken, Jim and Randy, son-in-law Bob, grandson Clayton and brother-in-law Ron. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of those in attendance. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of arrangements.
