JEROME TYRON BRYANT BLAIN COURCHENE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious son, brother, grandson and nephew. Jerome was born August 24, 2004 and died July 8, 2005 in Pine Falls Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Edward and Ramona Courchene; siblings, Alexis, Edward Jr., Jada and Zachary; his grandparents, Clem and Edith Courchene, Henry and Prisillia Hardisty; Mama Arlene; great-grandparents, Frank and Annabella Moneyas, Katherine and Herman Courchene; his Godparents, Ben and Betty Moneyas; his aunts and uncles, Kim C. (Rick), Vivian C. and Bill C. (Chris), Leon M. (Shayle), Mitchelle B. (Ray), Andrea B. (Dwayne), Pat B. (Keith), Aurellia B. (Ted), Wendy (Gerald), Melanie (Cliff), Chantel (Les), Amber and Robyn; plus numerous cousins, other aunts and uncles and many relatives and friends. He fought a good battle to stay with his family but God saw how tired he was getting so he wrapped his arms around him and said, Rest my child and come home with me. . We would like to say a special thank you to everyone at Variety Heart, plus everyone at Edmonton Strollery Hospital for their wonderful care and help to keep Jerome with us this long. Also a special thank you to Gary Robinson and the social workers in Edmonton for being there for us. Thank you to Pine Falls Ambulance and staff at the Pine Falls Hospital. Jerome's wake service has begun Monday, July 11 in the Community Hall of Hollow Water First Nation with the funeral service on Friday, July 15 at 2:00 p.m. also at the hall. Rev. Henry Neufeld officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Parish Cemetery. Rock Fountaine Funeral Director in care of arrangements, 1-866-499-2601.
