EVELYN MARY POOLE (nee SNOWDON) Eve passed away peacefully on July 16, 2005 at age 90 years at Deer Lodge Hospital. She was predeceased by Johnny her soulmate and husband of 66 years. She is survived by her daughter Lorraine and husband Keith Micklash, granddaughter Kim and husband Randy Hawkins, grandson Manny and wife Leona Micklash, great-grandchildren, Ty, Tory, Landon and Drew, brother Bill Snowdon, sisters Lillian and husband Stan Pownall, and Joyce and husband Jack Hunter. Eve spent most of her life caring and looking after family and friends staring at a very young age. She also worked at the Snowdon's Store, the family business for many years. She especially liked decorating the store windows. She spent many happy years at the family cottage at Ponemah Beach and later at her and Johnny's cabin at Grand Marais. She loved to bake and send goody packages to her family. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a very loving and giving person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Even though she was confined to bed for the last eight years she was always there to listen. Special thanks to the staff of Deer Lodge 6 West especially Carol and Diana. A memorial service will held at Klassen Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 20 at 3:00 p.m., with Reverend Beth Rutherford officiating.
