Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJERRY (JAROMIR) VAVRECKA It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden death of a wonderful friend, brother, and uncle, Jerry (Jaromir) Vavrecka, aged 68 years, on June 18, 2005. Born in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on April 11, 1937, Jerry immigrated to Canada in the late 60s and lived in Winnipeg. A retired federal government employee, Jerry, a landscape architect, was instrumental in the design and construction of regional national parks and historic sites. He is survived by his sister Jana Ottova; nieces, (Katerina and Marketa); nephew (Martin); sister-in-law (Marie); and many relatives-all of the Czech Republic. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 22 at Bardal Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Interment will take place at a later date in the Czech Republic.
