He was ordained to the priesthood on June 14, 1958 at St. Stanislaus Church, Toronto. He remained at St. Stanislaus as Assistant Pastor until 1965 when he was named Assistant Pastor at St. Casimir's Parish, Toronto from 1965 to 1972. Fr. Peter Paul, Welland, (1993-1996). Since 1996, while residing at the Oblate Provincial House in Toronto he served the Polish communities in Nobleton and Barrie for four years. During his many years as a Missionary Oblate, he involved himself not only in parish and church affairs but also held a number of responsibilities in the civic arena. To this end he was a director of the Community Folk Arts Council of Metropolitan Toronto and the Ontario Folk Arts Council (1963) and (1984); member of the Board of Trustees in the National Art Centre, Ottawa (1969-1972); honorary Chaplain to Scandinavian airlines; a life member and Chaplain Cardinal Wyszynski Council to the Knights of Columbus and an honorary member of the Roncesvalles BIA since 1986.
