NINA KONIK March 28, 1920 - September 25, 2005 It is with great sadness we announce the loss of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Nina passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital on Sunday at the age of 85. Nina leaves to mourn, her husband of 60 years, Paul; daughters, Lydia (Lee) Shirtliffe and Anna; son Edward; grandsons, Paul and Ryan. The family would like to extend special thanks to the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service, Seven Oaks Hospital Emergency and heartfelt gratitude to Dr. P. Bhanot and all the staff on Unit 5, Third floor Geriatrics for all their kindness and compassion enabling Nina to move on with the dignity she so deserved. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations in Nina's memory be made to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
