Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERARD ST. ONGE Peacefully, on October 5, 2005 with family at his side, Gerard St.Onge passed away at the Victoria Hospital. He leaves to mourn his wife of 53 years, Claudette, three children and their spouses, Claude (Linda), Marcel (Patricia), Joanne (Frank); nine grandchildren, Renee, Christine, Aubray, Samantha, Geoffry, Patricia, Joseph, Anthony and Kristian; also three great-grandchildren; brother Paul; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Born in Aubigny, MB, in 1921, Gerry was from a family of 13. He joined the active forces in 1939 where he served overseas as a communication officer. He worked for Canada Post for 28 years. Upon retirement, Gerry moved to Victoria, BC, where he lived for 18 years, and returned to Winnipeg in the year 2000. Gerard will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 11 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 Cathedral Ave., with reception to follow. A private interment will take place at Glen Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 1531 Pembina Hwy 284-7500
