FRANK B. KERR Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, Frank Kerr passed away at the Beausejour and District Hospital, at the age of 74 years. He is survived by his wife Doreen; and will be fondly remembered by his extended family and grandchildren. After his retirement from Hydro, Frank spent several years writing weekly articles for the local newspaper in Beausejour The Clipper. He was an active member of the Lion's Club in Beausejour for 19 years until his health declined this past year. Frank was also a proud Legion member for over 50 years. One of Frank's greatest joys was the years he spent playing bass drum for the ANAVETS Pipe Band in Winnipeg. In keeping with Frank's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Our family extends special thanks to Dr. Schmidt and staff of the Beausejour and District Hospital and the home care staff for all their kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665

I was too young to know my Uncle Frank well, but I do remember his daughter Melodie and mom Grace. My mother was Frank’s sister (I believe only sibling) - Frances Gustafson (Kerr). I too am glad he found a loving family and is remembered by loved ones - it’s very comforting to know. Am sorry for your loss and this late post (only saw the obit). - Posted by: Lorrie (Niece) on: Apr 05, 2023

I was being asked by my children about my father. I had an awareness that he had lived in Beausejour. And by coincidence, I found out that Frank was very good friends with someone I also knew. I am so glad he was able to find a family and community. I have memories and knowledge of his grandmother, father, stepmother, sister, and mother. There were definitely struggles that Frank and sister endured as children. I believe that contributed to his life as a younger adult male and one who was not capable to always make the best decisions. He has come to me in spirit with much regret, and I am assured he is a part of my life and is helping me now on my journey. In writing this, I am extremely grateful he found love, especially with a grandchild who is still feeling his loss. - Posted by: Melodie M. (Daughter) on: Aug 04, 2018
