VERA BOND Passed away October 12, 2005 at Villa Youville, Ste. Anne, MB at the age of 76 years. Mom leaves behind to cherish her memory her son David (Ruth), daughter Christina (Kevin), grandchildren Christian, Timothy, Sarah and great-grandchildren Katrina and Timothy. Vera met the love of her life Peter when she was a Bobby in England. They immigrated to Canada in 1956. Mom enjoyed so many aspects of life, from the ballet and opera to sharing a bottle of Plonk' and shopping till we dropped. Mom had such a playful spirit and she made life incredibly fun. She gave her time, her love and her advice so generously to her family and was always there to help us pull our socks up and to get on with life. Her personality will live on in all our generations to come. Her grandsons will forever remember their special summers with nanny in England. God has now taken her home so that her spirit can once again be free. Dad's been waiting a long time for you, Mom. Thank you Sarah and Peter for being there to hold mom's hand at the end. She wasn't alone. We love you, mom. PSALM 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul:He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his names' sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
