Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUKHDEV SINGH GARCHA (R.N.) It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving and caring husband, father, son, brother, brother-in- law, uncle and friend. On Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Health Sciences Centre he went to his eternal rest leaving to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Ravinder and twin sons Diljot and Navjot, his parents Dyal Singh and Dalip Kaur, brother Dr. Bhupinder, sisters Jawinder, Parmjeet, Parminder and their families. Dave was born in Moga, India on September 18, 1963. He moved to Canada, arriving in Winnipeg on Christmas Eve, 1980. He attended the Winnipeg Adult Education Centre and University of Manitoba. He then became involved in business with forming two companies: Unipro Taxi and Advance Transit. It was during this period when true happiness arrived with his marriage to Ravinder on June 16, 1996. Dave's most recent achievement was becoming a Registered Nurse, training at Red River College and working at St. Boniface Hospital. His talents and interests knew no bounds. They ranged from photography, electronics, cooking and repairing cars. But his greatest concern and interest was in people around him. His outgoing personality and humour always made friends wherever life leads him. At the centre of his life was his family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sukhdev's memory to the Children's Hospital Foundation, CE501, 840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1. Carl and I are so sad to hear today of Dave's passing. I met him as a nursing student and we both knew him as Raymond's friend. Dave was kind , caring and gentle. Our prayers are with all of you.. Sincerely, Sharon and Carl Bronevitch - Posted by: Sharon & Carl Bronevitch (Friend) on: Oct 25, 2005

The world will be less kind, less intelligent, less spiritual and so much more empty without Dave. Everyone who knew Dave, was blessed by his friendship. My prayers are with you all, especially Ravinder, Diljot and Navjot. - Posted by: Marla V Penner (Acquaintance) on: Oct 21, 2005
