THEODORUS MARIA BON Ter Herinnering aan Opa Peacefully on October 19, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital, Theodorus (Ted) passed away after a lengthy illness. Ted was born in Leimuiden, Netherlands. He married Maria Janzen in 1955. They immigrated to Canada in 1959 and resided in British Columbia for 45 years. They recently moved to Manitoba to be closer to the family. Ted loved travelling, fishing, boats and the water. He was an avid cribbage and card player. Everyone will remember his sense of humour. Ted gave his time and himself to all those who needed a helping hand. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maria, sons Dick (Cheryl), Ron (Bonnie) and grandchildren Sarah, Jason and Sagan in Canada and by his sisters Jopy, Nel, Dinie, Leny, Trees, and brothers Henry, Adrie, Gerard and Martin in the Netherlands. He was predeceased by his parents Harlena and Hendrick, sister Johanna and brother Antonius. The family thanks the staff of the Concordia Hospital 3rd floor for their care and consideration. A celebration of Ted's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, at Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street, and Winnipeg, Manitoba. A reception will follow the service.
