WALTER KRUK December 18, 1924 - October 22, 2005 With heavy hearts and a great sadness the family of Walter Kruk announce his peaceful passing after a courageous battle against leukemia. Walter leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Ella; his children, Walter (Linda), Barbara (Gordon), Beverly (Mark); granddaughter, Kim; and great grandchildren, Micky and Tykira. Walter started life in Arborg, MB. Later, in his youth, he enjoyed life on the family farm in Saskatchewan. As a young man he began a career with the Canadian Pacific Railway. His career spanned forty years, commencing in Souris, MB., and concluding in Winnipeg, in 1984 with his retirement. While in Souris, Walter met his special lady, Ella, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. He was a kind, gentle, and caring husband and father. The greatest joy of his life was his family. He was also very creative and there wasn't anything he couldn't make or fix. He will be sorely missed. The family would like to extend their special thanks to Dr. Seftel, Megan, and all the staff and volunteers at Cancercare for their loving care and concern. Cremation has taken place and in keeping with Walter's wishes, a private celebration of his life will be held for immediate family members. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Walter's memory to Cancercare Manitoba. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
