Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA MLYNARSKI (nee ADLER) Peacefully with her family by her side on October 22, 2005, Eva passed away after a brief illness. She was born in Shidlovietz, Poland on October 30, 1926. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years Harry, her parents, Yechiel and Esther, her sisters, Rivka (Motelle), Sara and brother David. Eva was a Holocaust survivor and was liberated in 1945. She met her husband soon after the liberation. From the death camps of Europe they traveled to Israel where they married in 1947. They left Israel in 1952 and immigrated to Canada. Eva worked as a kindergarten teacher at the Rosh Pina Synagogue while raising their two children. During that time she was an active member of Hadassah and became a life member. Her devotion to Judaism was evident through the traditions she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life and they will greatly miss the warmth of her home, the joy of her visits, her delicious cooking, her special hugs and words of wisdom. Eva had many friends who will sorely miss her generous nature and attentive ear. Eva will be lovingly and sadly missed by her children, Julius and Esther; daughter-in-law Marilyn Weisdorf; son-in-law Richard Penner, beloved grandchildren, Holden and Jesse Mlynarski, Dayna and Ramy Penner, sister and brother-in-law Yochevet and Adam of Israel; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Henya and Mayer of Israel, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Doctor G. Minuk for his care and compassion, Doctor McFlicker and the staff on 4A at the Health Sciences Centre. They would also like to express their appreciation to Doctor Haligowski, the home care workers and staff of Gentle Touch, especially Rose. Thank you to the wonderful friends and family who have provided their support through this most difficult time. Funeral services were held at the Etz Chayim on October 24, 2005. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
